Important Information
Due to the Government ban and my Insurance Company restrictions, I cannot allow XL Bullys to attend classes.

Happy New Year to you all, and many thanks to those that gave me Xmas Cards and Gifts, it was very kind of you, and much appreciated.

Dates for your Diary :

We start back in Harlow on Monday 5th January and Chigwell on Wednesday 7th January. From Wednesday the 4th February 2026, the cost of classes will increase to £7.00 in Chigwell.

I have been trying to avoid raising the cost for a few years, and at one stage I was going to have one class or close down altogether.

The hourly rate of the hall is being increased to £30.00 an hour in January 2026, almost double that from January 2022, when it was only £16.00 an hour, thankfully the Harlow Club has been bridging the gap, but I feel that it cannot go on any longer, as I rarely cover the hall costs at the Chigwell venue. I hope you all understand. Harlow classes remain at their current level of £5.00. :

About Us...

Our clubs have been running for a number of years, Hastingwood DTC from 1992, being the longest, and Little Heath DTC from 2000, and are run as not for profit clubs.
We train basic pet obedience, starting from puppy up to advanced, and we support the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Schemes,  of which we hold 2 test days a year for Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Details of each of the test requirements can be found on the Kennel Club website.
For the older dogs, during the summer months, we introduce a bit of agility when we can train outside, weather permitting.

The clubs are geared up for supporting various charities through the year, both animal and human, by selling donated items and putting on dog shows, and at the end of the year the attendees of both clubs are asked to put forward a charity to be a recipient of a £100 donation,  and these are picked out at the Dogs Xmas Parties.

The trainer is Kathy Woodger.
